no Country for Old Men (2007)

In No Country for Old Men the sheriff Ed Tom Bell has come upon the office of sheriff in a wide open country where he tries softening the increasing of violence just like his grandfather and father before when he began this job.
In the film a man Llewelyn Moss shows himself in a aftermath of a drug deal which became awry. dogs and men were laying dead on the floor and their bodies contained bullet holes, a tired out Mexican is then revealed begging for water, he then encounters a satchel that contains two million dollars and he then begins to take it to his trailer home not knowing people are after it, which will be difficult for him to avoid later on in the film. He is suddenly chased away by two men in a truck. As he gets back to his trailer he send his wife Carla Jean to her mother's to stay, he then sets of to stay at a motel in the next county with the satchel of cash. At the motel he stays in, he hides the cash in the air vent of his room. From this point onwards he comes i conflict with a distinctive man dressed in black who is trying to get his hands on the money. Throughout these moments of conflict guns are involved and music is used to build the suspence and tension up.

In the opening scene of 'No country for old men' we are immediatley confronted with two murders by a distinctive man who is dressed in dark clothing which matches his actions; this is effective because from this we see straight away that the film is going to be a thriller. Tension is built up massively throughtout the scenes of both murders. The first murder that the distinctive man commits is in a sheriffs office and the other murder commited was on road.
